George Wythe to Conduct Annual Commencement Exercises
On October 17, 2008 George Wythe University will be hosting its annual commencement exercises. The commencement ceremony, to be held in the Heritage Center's beautiful Festival Hall, begins at 11:00 am local time and is open to the public free of charge. No RSVP or registration is necessary. This is a wonderful opportunity to hear from keynote speaker Dr. Shane Schulthies, designated president of the new Monticello campus, and several of this year's graduating students.
A commencement luncheon for graduates and their guests will begin at 1:30 pm and a formal ball will be held that evening at 8:00 pm. Tickets to the ball are available at the door for $10/person or $50/family.
The faculty and staff of George Wythe would like to invite you to attend commencement and be inspired by the graduates of 2008, the statesmen of the 21st Century. Come join us in extending our support and congratulations to these students who have dedicated four years of their lives to gain a liber education so they in turn may be the change we wish to see in the world.
