GWC Kicks Off Brick by Brick Campaign
George Wythe College is pleased to announce Brick by Brick, the newest addition to our George Wythe University Capital Campaign. Brick by Brick provides the opportunity for businesses, individuals, and supporters of the college to purchase personalized bricks to be used in the construction of the Monticello Campus. Not only will this campaign raise the additional funds needed to get the Monticello Campus off the ground, it will provide each of us with the chance to become a permanent part of George Wythe University.
The bricks will be engraved or plated, depending on where they will be used in construction. Bricks will be placed on buildings, walkways, benches and other locations around the campus (to be determined by the architectural committee); and all engravings will be visible and easily accessible. Students for generations to come will be reminded daily of the significant sacrifices made by thousands of people to make this educational environment available to them.
In addition to the opportunity for you to build your name into the beautiful architecture of our second campus, we are also providing a chance for you to win $100,000 in tuition while helping us meet the goal of this exciting fundraiser! Individuals and groups can sign up to participate in the contest and the first person or group to secure 600 brick donations before October 15, 2008 will divide the tuition among their group’s members! Other prizes are also available for securing 50, 100, 200, 300, 400, and 500 Brick by Brick donations.
Whether you donate to GWC for a personalized brick or participate in the contest yourself, you will be joining us in building the Monticello campus and helping us take the next step to becoming George Wythe University—where we will build thousands of future statesmen. But the campus and a university model are only a means to the end. Ultimately, you will be helping to build men and women of virtue, wisdom, diplomacy, and courage who inspire greatness in others and move the cause of liberty. Every generation faces intense challenges. If we are to succeed, we will need men and women prepared to meet those challenges with the same abilities as the great statesmen of the past. Start today to build your name into George Wythe University and help us build statesmen!PrintShare this article with a Friend
