New Scholarships for On-Campus Students

We are pleased to announce the new Matchlight Scholarship, a source of financial aid beginning in Fall 2012. This essay-based scholarship has been created by a private donor and is only open to George Wythe University students. The winning student will receive $1,000 applied to his or her Fall 2012 tuition, and is eligible to receive $250 each semester thereafter through a supplemental scholarship. This offering is available both to prospective and continuing full-time students.

In addition to this and other GWU specific scholarships, there are millions of dollars awarded every year through other scholarship organizations that our students are also eligible for.  Although most private scholarships restrict eligibility to students attending accredited institutions, some organizations have chosen to approve an exception for GWU students.  One of these organizations, The Joe Foss Institute, has a scholarship deadline coming up on July 4th.

We encourage all prospective and current students to go to the updated scholarship page on our website for details on current scholarship opportunities.
